Product Description

JIS S45C is a kind of medium-carbon high-quality steel with high strength. Due to its poor hardenability, it is generally used in the normalizing state. When the mechanical properties are required to be high, quenching and tempering treatment is used. The plasticity of cold deformation is moderate, and the machinability of annealed and normalized is better than that of quenched and tempered. It is used to manufacture parts with high strength requirements, such as gears, shafts, piston pins, etc., and machined parts, forgings, stampings, bolts, nuts, and pipe joints that are not stressed.
